Lake Tenno
This fabulous lake is the 6th largest in Trentino. Its beauty also derives from its position, as it lies in the middle of a typical alpine village.
Its perfectly circular shape and the turquoise color of its water make it an unmissable spectacle. The Light Blue Lake, as it is commonly called, houses a
small island which, during less rainy periods when the water level is lower, can even be reached on foot. This place is a must-see for those staying at Hotel Rudy!
Castle of Arco
This is one of the most important historical symbols that characterize the part of Lake Garda belonging to Trentino. To get to the castle you will cross 3 streets
immersed in nature, with olive trees and oleanders. The Castle was the residence of the Arco Counts, whom it was named after. Its peculiarity is certainly the area
called Prato della Lizza, a green balcony enclosed between the three very high walls of the tower where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the landscape. Then there
are the fresco hall and the Sasso prison, which are equally impressive.
Sentiero Ponale
The Sentiero Ponale has conquered the hearts of people across Europe over the years and has become one of the most famous paths in Europe. The path consists of a spectacular
road overlooking the lake that begins in Riva del Garda and finishes in Valle di Ledro. During the journey you will pass under tunnels and ancient war posts …and get to
the Ponale waterfalls.
Both in autumn and in spring this excursion is certainly one of the most beautiful to take!
Varone Waterfall
Another place that is worth visiting is definitely the Varone Waterfall. The water that descends from the rock comes from the Varone torrent and falls from a
height of about 90 meters. The German writer and essayist, 1929 Nobel Prize winner, Thomas Mann, was inspired by this waterfall in the drafting of one of his most
famous works, “The magic mountain”. Inside the waterfall there are 2 caves, one of which offers a breathtaking view of water flowing directly from the white rock.
Muse
The Trento Science Museum is worth visiting in its own right, because it is an architectural work designed by Renzo Piano. Moreover, it expresses
a concept called “zero gravity”. Many objects inside it are exposed with a system of thin wires that can keep them suspended in the air as if
they were floating. The museum is a must-see for all types of travelers and all ages: families, couples, groups, etc.
Fun is guaranteed!
Dolomites
Those arriving here cannot fail to see our wonderful Dolomites, UNESCO World Heritage. The peculiarity of these mountains, in addition to their shape,
is certainly the “dolomite”, the substance they are named after and their rock is made up of. Thanks to the dolomite, the Dolomites absorb sun rays and
turn pink around sunset. Over the years the Dolomites have become a real tourist destination where to do all types of activities throughout the year!
