Forming part of the Italian Alps and a UNESCO World Heritage site, they take their name from "dolomite" - the substance from which the mountains are formed. It is precisely this dolomite that means that at certain times of the day the mountains absorb sunlight and take on a pinkish hue. They offer a path which is suited to every mountain enthusiast: for children, young people, families and the elderly. There are so many different places to discover, each as beautiful as the other, and the splendid surroundings offer spectacular and exciting views.
